SPRING (and tree & landscape work) is Coming!

Soon we’ll be seeing the trees in our landscapes beginning to leaf out once again. The growing season is about to start and now is the time to schedule your Deep Root Tree Fertilization.

Why fertilize with this method? Because deep root fertilizing is best for your trees! This method uses a mechanized drill auger and liquid fertilizer to both aerate the soil and put the fertilizer where the tree’s feeder roots grow and are able to access it…. 4 to 8 inches below the soil.

Deep Root Fertilization

Trees in urban and suburban environments often experience high stress conditions because of soil compaction, construction, physical damage, and competition from other trees, shrubs and lawns.

Heavily paved areas and manicured lawns means that trees don’t get the nutrients needed for optimum health and growth.

Why is deep root fertilizing so much better than sprinkling dry fertilizer around your trees? First, because we use a liquid fertilizer that is specifically for trees, and is put where the tree can access it – below the grass.

Additionally, rain water won’t leach the fertilizer away…. it’s immediately accessible to the tree. And, along with the necessary nutrients, the soil is aerated and the tree is watered by the application. Like us, tree roots need both oxygen and water to survive and grow.

What results will you see? By deep root fertilizing your trees and shrubs you can expect to see increased growth, healthier & better foliage color & increased vitality, which also means longer life. Trees that are fertilized are better able to withstand environmental stresses, drought, disease and insect problems.
