It’s That Time Again…….

Hard to believe that at this time last year, we’d just
had a freak snowstorm that caused major (& minor,
if you were lucky) damage to many, many trees and
quite a few homes. Let’s keep our fingers crossed
that winter arrives at it’s appropriate time, after
we’ve finished our tree and landscape maintenance.

Pruning is essential for good landscape tree
maintenance. Correct pruning by a certified tree
care Arborist will keep your ornamental and shade
trees strong and healthy for decades.

Unfortunately, pruning is sometimes taken up
by the homeowner with disastrous results for
both tree and pruner. Every month there are
accident reports such as this one; “ A 44 year old
homeowner was listed in critical condition from
severe burns to his body when his hand touched a
high-voltage power line as he attempted to trim a
tree…

And another; “A young man was hospitalized
after falling from a tree. While attempting to
cut the top out of the tree he fell about 25 feet,
suffering a possible head injury.”

If the homeowner escapes injury, the tree often
does not. It is frequently left with poorly pruned
limbs that are unsightly; that can lead to later
problems; and that weaken the structural integrity
of the tree, leading to later removal.

Well cared for, and properly pruned trees add to
your landscape, and property value, and beauty of
the neighborhood.

As owner of Bradley Tree and Landscape, I’m an
experienced certified Arborist. We have all the
equipment necessary to care for your landscape

trees, such as a 70’ Nifty Lift that is used to access
trees, along with a 60 ‘ Bucket truck.

Trees are an important part of our landscape and
our lives. With care, they will live for generations.

We’re here to help…
