Bradley Tree and Landscape, which is owned and operated by me – Tim Bradley – is both a tree removal and tree care company. As a professional licensed Arborist, I am in the business of helping people with their tree landscapes. We are fortunate to live in an area here in southern New Hampshire that is well-populated with trees, but it also means understanding and caring for them.
Often, tree removals are necessary. Pruning is also frequently needed as it helps to develop those beautiful old specimans we see in our neighborhoods.
Throughout this year I’ll be giving you information about the “whys” and “where-fors” of tree care and tree removal on the monthly Blog. I’ll also be adding information about the equipment we use (and why we use it) throughout the website. I hope you’ll visit here regularly for tree service information.
Three sites I’d like to recommend to my fellow tree enthusiasts.
1. The first is www.TreeFund.org This site’s mission is “to support sustainable communities and environmental stewardship by funding research, scholarships and education programs essential to the discovery & dissemination of new knowledge in the fields of Arboriculture and Urban Forestry.”
2. The second site is www.AmericanForests.org. Their mission is “to protect and restore forests, helping to preserve the health of our planet for the benefit of it’s inhabitants.”
3. The third site is www.ACF.org/ChapterNews_vt.php. This is the American Chestnut Foundation and the link sends you right to the Vermont/NewHampshire chapter. Check it out because there’s an interesting event happening right in Manchester NH in February!
And last but not least, for a visual treat of some amazing trees I highly recommend the book Remarkable Trees of the World by Thomas Pakenham.
Wishing you a happy, healthy … and Green… New Year!
-Tim Bradley
